Inside 3D Printing is Coming for Tokyo Tomorrow

The Godzilla-sized 3D printing conference and expo, Inside 3D Printing, is heading for Tokyo.  Attendees are instructed to seek cover at the BIG SIGHT – Tokyo International Exhibition Center, where doors will open on September 17.  The show is stocked with a range of great exhibitors and speakers who will not only speak to the industry as a whole, but focus directly on 3D printing in Japan and the Asian market.  Among the companies that will be present are the big industry leaders, Stratasys and 3D Systems, as well as Materialise Japan, Artec, and Japanese printer manufacturers CMET Inc., Aspect Inc., D-MEC Ltd., and more.

From the Inside 3DP agenda, the 3D printing technology coming out of Japan looks quite exciting, including Matsuura Machinery’s LUMEX Avance-25 Metal Laser Sintering Hybrid Milling machine tool. Our writer, Mark Lee, described the event by saying, “It is shaping up to be Japan’s first significant 3D printing show, and a “must see” event for anyone interested in 3D printing from the locale, and, as it turns out, advanced manufacturing in Asia.” Unfortunately, Mark will not be able to attend, but you’ll get a chance to meet 3DPI founders Ari Honka and Eetu Kuneinen.  Make sure to stop by an introduce yourself! You can register for tickets to the event here.
