i.materialise Moves to the Cloud

In a move that seems essential in the 21st Century, Belgian 3D printing company, Materialise, has shifted its operations to the effervescent, ethereal cloud — where fairies are born and so are thunderstorms.  By transitioning to cloud computing, i.materialise will most likely increase the speed of its website. This may not seem all that interesting, as the practice of storing data via networked remote servers is quickly overtaking the antiquated method of storing data on local servers, but when it comes to digital design and, more importantly, 3D models, cloud computing will make for a much speedier experience.  So, if i.materialise is right, then, uploading files to their 3D print lab should now be much faster.
