Free 3D Printable of the Week: Mount Everest

Break out your BigRep ONE.2 or Cheetah 3D printer! This week’s free 3D printable is huge. Or tiny, depending on how you choose to print it.  Sketchfab user Lite, an expert at low-fi and low-poly models, has created a 3D printable Mt. Everest:

This model was made using terrain.party, an online tool for grabbing topographical maps of places all over the world.  Designed specifically for city-building game Cities: Skylines, the terrain.party tool captures the height data for small selections of land.  Lite took this one step further and decimated the model in Blender to turn it into a 3D printable, low-poly model.

Use the model to 3D print your own Everest for your pet lizards to crawl all over or build a practice Everest in your backyard! Everest is yours now. Conquer it however you wish.
