A little birdie told that there’s a new Star Wars flick coming out and that they even got Harrison Ford back to play the titular role of Chewbacca. I know that most of that sentence isn’t accurate and doesn’t even really make all that much sense, but, in honor of the upcoming release of Star Wars: Episode VII, here we have a downloadable Chewbacca model.
This model was created by Sketchfab user Pixelio, associated with the recently launched Pixelio campaign on Kickstarter. Created by UK startup Smart 3D, Pixelio is a little automated Lazy Susan that, relying on a user’s smartphone, allows for steady 3D scans when complemented with apps like 123D Catch.
