VAGLER, the Largest 3D Printing Manufacturer You Have Never Yet Heard Of Is Coming to Europe and the US

Sometimes it is easy to forget just how widespread the global 3D printing movement is becoming but companies such as VAGLER International, Malaysia’s first 3D printing manufacturer quickly remind us. This company, which originated and is wholly owned by Sweden based VAGLER AB, has been developing its own line of FFF 3D printers for the past five years and is expecting huge demand. It is currently ramping up its manufacturing facility to produce some 500 units per months (6,000 a year), shortly after launching its first 3D printer on the Malaysian and the Singapore markets.

As if that were not enough to convey the scope and the potential of the desktop 3D printing industry in Asia, the company is in the process of adding an additional manufacturing facility (which will be fully operational by September 2014) to bring its total output capabilities to 1000 units per months, and thus cover its Western launches.

Currently the machines are available through VAGLER’s new website, which launched on April 23rd, but only for shipment in the Malaysian and Singaporean markets. Through VAGLER AB, which owns warehousing and manufacturing facilities in Sweden, the company is going to launch its line of printers in Europe in July and then hit the States in September.

So what are the 3D printers that VAGLER are going to produce and sell? Currently its line up is made up of three 3D Printers (V-811, V-821 and V-822) with similar print volumes and slightly varying print features and prices. It also sells two Primesense technology (Kinect) based 3D scanner models and will be launching a portable desktop 3D printer with its own proprietary Sapphire software in October.

The entry-level model V-811, which costs the equivalent of $1850 has a build size of 270 x 200 x 250 mm (13.500 cubic centimeters), with maximum H resolution of 50 micron and print speed of 30-130 mm per second. It has a black full metal casing, which makes it fitting for desktop use. Potential European and American customers will be able to see that for themselves very soon, according to the company.
