A 3D Printable Valentine's Day Card Could Earn You $250

It’s nearing the end of January and you know what that means! It’s almost my birthday. So, what are you all getting me? It’s also almost Valentine’s Day! So, what are you all getting me? You don’t have to answer now, but you could get the cash to buy me something through the Sketchfab Valentine 2015 Contest, which is offering $250 for the best 3D greeting for Valentine’s Day published on the 3D model sharing site.

To enter, you have to submit your entry (or entries) to Sketchfab by Thursday, February 12th at midnight CEST and tag it/them with Valentine2015.  The winners will be chosen based on community popularity and Sketchfab’s own staff.  For tips on how to increase your model’s popularity, the site suggests reading their “Rockstar” tutorials.  They also suggest making printable designs downloadable and highlight the use of their polished Camera Effects, to increase the aesthetic quality of the models’ 3D renders on Sketchfab.

Winners will be announced Friday, February 13th with 1st place taking home $250 and a year of Sketchfab PRO, while 2nd place will win a year of Sketchfab PRO, and 3rd place will earn just six months of Sketchfab PRO.

Need ideas for what to model? Hearts are always popular around Valentine’s Day, for some reason.  Rhymes about flowers and Shakespearean sonnets are in.  The Diarrhea Song is out. Now, you’re good to go!
