3D printing continues its push into the mainstream as, Thursday of this week, the most recognizable name in 3D printed toys made its way into the world’s oldest and largest toy store, Hamleys. Makies, which is establishing itself as a name brand in 3D printed consumer products in the industry, can now be purchased in Hamleys’ flagship London store on Regent Street. Now listed as one of Hamleys’ Magnificent Seven must-have gifts for the holidays this year, Londonites and visiting tourists can run up to the shop’s second floor to see the Makies display.
The 3D printed toy line can now add the toy store giant to their list of distributors, which previously included Amazon, MakerPoint, and Selfridges. Good news for 3D printing evangelists and kids alike!
