Free 3D Printable of the Week: Amenemhat III, Sketchfab's Most Downloaded Model

This week, Sketchfab celebrated its 400,000th model, a pretty big accomplishment for a 3D model community that was only launched in 2012.  The company says it has big plans for when it reaches 500,000, so get ready! For now, you can download this scan of a granite bust of Amenemhat III, from the Temple of Bastet in Bubastis, Egypt.  The scan, performed for the British Museum by Thomas Flynn, was taken from a giant statue made in Egypt’s 12th Dynasty, in 1800 BC. This ancient head is Sketchfab’s most downloaded model to date, with 1.5k downloads. Download it yourself for 3D printing at home!
