EnvisionTEC Fills Production Gap with New Vector 3SP 3D Printer

DLP industry leader EnvisionTEC has just unveiled the new Vector 3SP 3D printer at the formnext powered by TCT show in Frankfurt. This newest addition to their already huge range of 3D printing solution joins EnvisionTEC’s lineup of industrial 3D printers, filling a niche between the entry level ULTRA® 3SP® series and the large-frame family, consisting of the Xtreme® 3SP® and the Xede® 3SP® models.

EnvisionTEC’s 3D printers are know for their extremely high quality and reliability for key applications both in the entertainment and the dental industries, as well as a growing presence in industrial prototyping, mainly due to the companies extremely wide range of advanced materials. All of EnvisionTEC’s current 3SP materials have been approved for use on the Vector 3SP, and the blade system employed will also open up new material options in the future.

vector 3spWith a build envelope that is 29% larger than the ULTRA 3SP, the Vector 3SP also gains additional speed capabilities that make it an attractive solution for a wide variety of manufacturing applications. In general, By working horizontally instead of vertically, 3SP (Scan Spin and Selectively Photocure) technology offer better speed performances than traditional DLP.

The Vector 3SP also includes a newly introduced single-frame design and a 15″ touchscreen monitor on a swing arm to control the built-in, stand-alone PC.  We are pleased to present the Vector 3SP as an enhanced 3D printing solution for professional and industrial use.  This new release reinforces EnvisionTEC’s dedication to providing the industry with constant innovation in additive manufacturing.  The Vector 3SP is capable of producing functional end-use parts with the exceptional surface finish we are known for with even greater speed than we have offered in the past,” said EnvisionTEC CEO Al Siblani.

EnvisionTEC will be demonstrating a full range of their popular 3D printing solutions at formnext including representations from each of their 3D printing technology groups and several new material choices aimed at crucial industrial applications such as molding, industrial wax patterns and direct manufacturing. 3DPI is on the ground here at the show and will be bringing you new information as we gather it.
