Builder 3D Printers Offers Supersize Option with Big Builder

The Dutch 3D printer company, Builder 3D Printers, decided to go big instead of go home. Taking a cue from a clamour for larger print ability, this new 3D printer arrives with a big bucket volume. With a casing of 365x370x900 mm (LxWxH) and print volume of 220x210x665 mm, Big Builder has significantly upped its scale. The new model comes complete with the specifications known to Builder aficionados and soon-to-be users.

Big Builder boasts the dual-feed extruder. If the customer prefers a single-feed extruder, it can happen after contacting the sales department. However, the dual-feed allows the single nozzle to seamlessly switch feeds vacillating between filaments. The powder-coated steel frame displayed in vermillion comes with not only the dual-feed, but with a controller unit, open display and SD card slot. The display looks like a red phone booth where instead of reaching others with cords, filaments are fed through extruders to bring your creation to you.

Affordability remains an aspiration from Builder as expressed by CEO Paul Hunk:
“Our printers really stand out with their great reliability and excellent print quality. In the last 6 months we received lots of enquiries to create a larger 3D Printer”. After making some custom built models we figured it was time to start producing them. Just like our other models we are able to offer them at a very competitive price.”
That price is €2495 – excluding vat and shipping.

3D Printer Big Builder

With humble speculation, this Big Builder could make waves in architecture and medical fields as well as others. The two immediate areas come to mind because of the scale sought for models and moulds that force 3D designs to come piecemeal through a printer.
