Have you ever wondered what IP lawyers talk while having dinner? If so, you’re in luck this Sunday as we’re sharing a video from an event co-sponsored by the IP Law Section of The State Bar of Georgia, The Copyright Society of the U.S.A. and ICLE. As you might have guessed, the video actually consists of a number of lawyers discussing 3D Printing and IP over a formal dinner! In addition to some delicious meals, the lawyers are also served with a live demonstration of 3D printing from award-winning design firm Struve Designs. This dinner party then delves in deeper with a discussion on the many copyright issues 3D printing raises and whether these issues might result in any real disruption of copyright-reliant industries. The video is on the lengthy side, but if you’re interested, there is some informative and even funny material to be seen.
