3D printing accessory outlets are becoming more and more abundant — whether via well established retail brands or new start-ups that sell them specifically. However, to date there has been very little to distinguish one from another, particularly on the prices of plastic filament for entry level deposition 3D printers.
For makers and PIY (print it yourself) enthusiasts, printing in different colours can prove expensive because standard rolls of the coloured filament have to be purchased separately. Now, however, there is an alternative option, and it comes from the filament supplier Seacans. Available from distributors or directly online, Seacans is offering a “Rainbow Roll” of 1.75mm ABS 3D printer filament, whereby customers can select any four colours (from a choice of 8 ) for the standard price of $26.99.
ABS filament is the most commonly used printing material by 3D printer owners and this option offers economic convenience for any of them wanting to produce prints in a variety of colours. According to Seacans, its colour ABS range works with all popular 3D printers.
