2 More 3D Printers: Revolution & Revolution XL

QU-BD has announced two new 3D printers. The Revolution and the Revolution XL 3D printers are built on the same format, which, according to QU-BD, is still evolving but early adopters of these systems will be asked to pay the full amount up front, but at a discounted price.

Specs for both machines include:

Frame Material: CNC Machined Billet Aluminum, Anodized

Frame Hardware: Fully Countersunk Stainless Socket Cap Screws (Metric)

Bed Material: 3/8″ Thick Basalt (a volcanic glass) | Ground Flat

Heated Bed: Silicone Rubber

Linear Motion Type: X/Y Belts and Linear Bearings | Z Screws. Linear Bearings

X-Motors: Dual NEMA 14 Motors w/ Up To 32x Microstepping

Y/Z-Motors: Dual NEMA 17 Motors w/ Up To 32x Microstepping

Electronics: Azteeg X1

Stepper Drivers: Texas Instruments Based Drivers w/ 32x Microstepping

Power Supply: 24v (Most Likely 350w)

Extruder: Single with a weight of 6 ounces.

 

Revolution 3D printer: RRP $799 ($699 for early adopters).

Build Volume: 6″x5.5″x5.5″ (152 x 140 x 140 mm)

System size: 10″ x 10″ x 9.5″ (254 x 254 x 241 mm)

 

Revolution XL 3D printer: RRP $999 ($849 for early adopters).

Build Volume: 9.5″x9″x9″ (241 x 229 x 229 mm)

System size:  < 13.5″ x 13.5″ x 12.75″ (343 x 343 x 324 mm)

 

60 units of each model will be available at the discounted price and these will be scheduled for shipping throughout March and April.
