Inside 3D Printing Adds 3D Print Vehicle Zone to Santa Clara Event

Not to overwhelm you with Inside 3D Printing news, as we just gave a rundown of their Santa Clara event last week, but this is definitely a feature worth covering.  With 3D Print Week California to hit the Bay Area in October, the Inside 3D Printing Conference and Expo will be adding an awesome two-day exhibition on October 21-22 called the 3D Print Vehicle Zone.

3D printed cars are definitely becoming a reality, with Local Motors being the first to enter into actual production of custom-made autos at the cusp of 2016 and other startups exploring 3D printed vehicles all of the time.  What better reason to bring the technology to the largest 3D printing conference series? At the Santa Clara event, exhibitors will showcase their 3D printed products and parts, including concept vehicles and equipment, all for no charge to the exhibitor.  Eligible companies can obtain a free exhibition space thanks to a grant received by Inside 3D Printing to make auto 3D printing known to attendees.  Who the grant is from is unspecified, but it hints at some potentially exciting displays.

Alongside the 3D Print Vehicle Zone, 3D Print Week CA will also include a VR Summit, the $15,000 Inside 3D Printing Startup Competition, and the Wohlers Associates consulting dinner, in addition to speakers, the exhibition hall, and events taking place in the Silicon Valley area. Prices increase on August 26th and you’ll also get 10% off with the code “3DPI”, so now’s your chance to get the early bird ticket.
