3D Printing Industry‘s Michael Molitch-Hou had the fantastic opportunity to interview Congressman Tim Ryan [D-OH13] who played an important role in establishing what is now known as America Makes. In this interview, Rep. Ryan discusses the journey of how a tech coalition in Ohio and Pennsylvania became the United States’ national institute devoted to additive manufacturing, as well as how he sees the overall Maker movement contributing to the country’s economic growth. Rep. Ryan also announces for the first time that he has launched, in conjunction with Congressmen Steve Stivers, Mark Takano, and Mick Mulvaney, the Congressional Makers Caucus.
