Shapeways user Amznfx recently posted his iPhone 6 BendGate Case to 3D model marketplace Shapeways for anyone who was unlucky enough to purchase the new $700 smart phone and leave it in their back pocket while they sat down.
Yes, it was probably a little silly to sit on such an expensive piece of cutting edge technology, but just because it’s called a smartphone doesn’t mean that you need to be smart to own one. So go ahead and plop your butt down on top of your iPhone all you want, you can still use it without worrying about scuffing the sides or getting the protruding camera lense caught on anything, just put this great protective bumper on it and everything will be fine.
You can have your bumper printed in a whole rainbow of nylon colors for only $19.99, which is almost free if you have enough money to not think that sitting on an iPhone and using it as a seat cushion is not a good idea.
The bumper is from the same folks who brought us the Putin Butt Plug, so it’s obviously a gag gift and probably won’t do much to help your bent phone. That means if you’ve really sat on your iPhone and bent it, I don’t think there is much help for you, sorry. You could always just pretend that it’s a new flip phone I guess.
