MakerBot Releases Blank 3D Printed Figure, "Zee"

Inspired by the vinyl doll trend and the company’s own MakerBot Around Town™ collection, MakerBot has released a 3D printable model called “Zee”, meant to be a blank 3D printed canvas on which artists can paint whatever comes to their mind. Now at the MakerBot Digital Store for $0.99, anyone can purchase Zee, 3D print it, and customize it with their own acrylic paints (or any medium they see fit).  For those without a 3D printer, there’s the From A to Zee: Limited Edition Starter Kit, which comes with a 3D printed Zee figurine and 10 Posca acrylic paint markers.  And everyone can share their designs with MakerBot on Twitter with #MakerBotBlank.
