Former Rresident of ReachLocal and executive of Dell, Joshua Claman was announced as the new Chief Business Officer (CBO) at Stratasys Ltd. Stratasys has outlined Claman’s role as focusing on driving commercial and go-to-market alliances across Statasys’s vast business units, including MakerBot and Stratasys Direct Manufacturing. He will also be in charge of governing Stratasys’s Global Sales Channel and Service organizations. Claman will report to CEO, David Reis, who announced the appointment:

Claman, a graduate of the University of Illinois with an MBA from the University of South Carolina, said, “Stratasys is a respected leader in the 3D printing space with a strong portfolio of solutions and services, and significant future growth prospects. Josh Claman’s recent tenure at ReachLocal, an online advertising and marketing solution provider, and nearly 25 years of experience in the computer software, hardware, and electronics world should make up for his lack of direct 3D printing and additive manufacturing experience. Stratasys’s diversified portfolio, ranging from prototype machines to digital parts manufacturing to over 600 pending or granted global additve manufacturing patents, should also give Claman a large playing field of products and ideas to experiment and work with.
