4WEB Medical, a leader in 3D printed orthopedic implants, has announced that they have recieved 510K clearance from the FDA, for their lateral interbody fusion device. The product will be marketed under the trade name ‘Lateral Spine Truss System’.

The Lateral Spine Truss System (LSTS) will have a large amount of options in regards to sizing, which allows the product to be customized for a variety of patients, and allow for integrated instrumentation. The implants will also feature single-use sterile packaging, ensuring that the implants are sterile and allowing the to be used by countries with laws where sterile packaging is required by law.
