Some of us are excited about the Disney adaptation of Big Hero 6 that’s coming out on November 7th of this year, particularly for the glimpses of 3D printing. Podcasters and all-around animation fans, Animation Fascination (AF), are so excited that they’re already creating fan art for the flick. And, luckily for us, this is the sort of art that you can 3D print.
Over at the podcasters’ Thingiverse page, you can download a 3D model of Baymax, Hiro’s science project from the film, seen 3D printed in the film’s trailer. Created by Animation Fascination’s Matt Quest, you can 3D print your own for free. And, if you do, you can share it on social media with #BaymaxFascination. This the AF duo’s first model on Thingiverse, but I’m guessing it’s not the last. Watch Baymax 3D printed below:
