Frontier Tech forum launching

Rising Media’s Frontier Tech Forum launches in December and will feature 3D Printing, Robotics and Virtual Reality all under the same roof.

Rising Media, the global events and media producer, has announced the official date for their up and coming event series, Frontier Tech Forum. Their goal is to encompass Inside 3D Printing, RoboUniverse and Virtual Reality Summit into a seamless two day conference and trade-show taking place in San Diego on December 14 and 15, 2016.

Individually, each of these events have become a popular destination and highly relevant within their respective industries.

Bringing together innovators

Inside 3D Printing, Rising Media’s flagship professional 3D printing and additive tech event, is currently hosted in more than 10 countries including Germany, Japan and USA. RoboUniverse, a trade-show specializing in showcasing robotics and their implementation in the service industry, is now hosted in key cities such as New York, Shanghai, Tokyo and Berlin having been launched in 2015. Finally, the Virtual Reality Summit, recently launched in New York, focuses on the emerging opportunities of VR/AR technology within different industries.

Adam Kahn, Chief Operating Officer of Rising Media commented that the Frontier Tech Forum will be the “opportunity to exchange ideas and establish powerful strategic alliances that will contribute deeply to the future of technology.” Bringing these events together aims to create valuable connections among key players across the three industries and foster new grounds for innovation.

Amazon to deliver keynote

Keynotes for the launch event in San Diego include Amazon, Columbia University and Samsung. Combined with a vast expo featuring companies from the 3D printing, robotics and VR/AR industries. In addition, a full day of workshops prior to the conference is scheduled to take place on December 13th.

Within the framework of the Frontier Tech Forum, Rising Media is also hosting the Frontier Tech Showdown and the Frontier Tech Hackathon. The former is a pitch competition seeking to bring together promising early-stage startups from across the events three sectors. The winner will be rewarded with $15,000 courtesy of Asimov Ventures.
