Our team reported about a series of amazingly 3D printed “stalaclights” before. Stalaclights are beautiful 3D printed light fittings that look like hanging buildings. Art creation never ends, just like technology never ceases to develop . Now with the help of 3D printing technology, Cypriot based designer Stelios has created a series of marvellous artworks dubbed “Wave City Table”. Following are the pictures of “Wave City Dining Table”.
Inspired by a film, this table is a well balanced mixture of wood, steel and 3D printed technology with hand painted coloring techniques. This artwork comes as a limited edition piece, with a dimensions of 250 cm x 120 cm x 76 cm. Priced at €18000 (including shipping) though, you could appreciate this splendid delicacy through pictures. How I wish I could see it in person!
Here are the pictures of “Wave City Coffee Table”.
Here is another artwork created with the help of 3D printing technology. This is called Rocket Coffee Table. According to the introduction, this artwork combines various techniques from lathe to 3d printing, resin casting and traditional hand curved pieces. The table is fashioned to draw a smile on the face of nostalgic adults, children, and children trapped in adult bodies. The rockets are not attached to the glass giving the opportunity to each owner to form their own desired structure of the table.
