EinScan S range gets an upgrade

The grand opening of the EMEA office coincided with the release of new desktop 3D scanners from Shining3D. At the event Oscar Meza, VP Global Sales, introduced the EinScan-SE (Scan Elite) and EinScan SP models.

Both models are an upgrades on the original tabletop EinScan S model, first launched on Kickstarter, and come with a built-in turntable for automated 3D scanning. Both have improvements to resolution and speed, but the SP model has a range more desired for experienced use, whereas the -SE is a “plug-in-and-play” model.

After the presentations attendees were offered the opportunity to a hands-on demo of the products, and having used the EinScan Pro on the road with Scan the World it was interesting to see how quick Shining3D have been to adapt to the discrepancies of earlier models.
