Portuguese BEETHEFIRST 3D Printer Finds First US Re-Seller

Not long after publishing my review of the BEETHEFIRST 3D printer from BEEVERYCREATIVE of Portugal, relaying that the company was seeking to expand its distribution to countries outside of Europe, a US distributor contacted 3DPI to let us know that they will be selling BEETHEFIRST 3D printers in the United States.  DesignBox3D, which also sells Afinia, MakerBot, 3D Systems, and CEL desktop 3D printers, is now also carrying BEETHEFIRST 3D printers.

The company has let us know that customers can now place pre-orders for the BTF from BVC, with the first printers to begin shipping in April.  The printer retails at $2,449 at the DesignBox3D site.  Located in North-East Ohio, DesignBox3D is quickly becoming a hub for international plug-n-play desktop 3D printers, carrying the Dutch Felix, the British Robox, and, now, the Portuguese BTF 3D printers, alongside their American offerings. The re-seller will be demoing the BTF 3D printer at the Cleveland Mini Maker Faire on Saturday, March 29th, so, if you’re local to the area, you’ll definitely want to check it out.  This beautiful machine is really a sight to see and, when it comes to appearances, the BEETHEFIRST puts most other desktop 3D printers to shame. (Sorry, Shane!)
