GoPrint3D adds MJF 3D printers to portfolio joining HP UK channel partner program

2019 shortlisted Value Added Reseller of the year GoPrint3D is to start offering HP Multi Jet Fusion 3D printers to its customers. Now part of the HP channel partner program in the UK, GoPrint3D strengthens a 20 year long relationship with the company that previously involved service and repair for paper printers.

“The addition of HP 3D printers to our product portfolio is fantastic news for our customers,” commented James Blackburn, Sales Director at GoPrint3D.

“The level of control that HP Multi Jet Fusion technology offers means that our customers can benefit from greater design freedom as well as higher quality, faster parts production. “

A value added reseller

Founded in 2013, GoPrint3D is the 3D printing branch of Express Group Ltd. a North Yorkshire printer repair and spare part provider. Through its parent company, GoPrint3D shares a long history with HP predating the introduction of MJF technology.

In 2014, a direct partnership between Express Group Ltd. and Formlabs, helped bring the Form 1+ 3D printed to the European market. In addition to Formlabs, and now HP, GoPrint3D is a UK-based reseller for Ultimaker, Zortrax, 3D Platform, Markforged, Admatec, 3DGence and Builder 3D printers. The value added service it promises to offer as a distributor for these brands centers on technical support and impartial advice surrounding a variety of different 3D printing technologies. The British Museum, University of the Arts London and Swiss multinational food and drink conglomerate Nestlé are among its customers.

The company is also a part of the Innovate UK backed  ‘Closed Loop Innovation in Fused Filament Fabrication’ (CLIFF) project that seeks to reduce waste created in 3D printing. The partnership with HP is said to contribute to GoPrint3D’s sustainability focus, as up to 80% of material for MJF can be reused after printing.

The HP Jet Fusion 500/300 Series

As channel partner, GoPrint3D will be reselling HP Jet Fusion 500/300 Series 3D printers. These systems were added to HP’s award winning MJF portfolio in 2018, bringing full color capabilities to the market. At the time of the systems’ launch Stepehn Nigro, then President of 3D Printing at HP Inc., said, “No matter your industry, no matter your design complexity, no matter what colors fit your business needs […] the new HP Jet Fusion 300 / 500 series gives you the freedom to create brilliant new parts liberated from the constraints of traditional production methods.”

Speaking of the present reseller partnership Blackburn, at GoPrint3D, concludes, “We’re incredibly excited to be part of the HP 3D channel partner program in the UK, and to bring such a trusted brand into our offering.”
