Fast Co. Adds 3D Printing to 2015 Innovation By Design Awards

If you’ve got a cutting edge, 3D printed design, now’s your chance for public recognition via leading business magazine Fast Company.  The 2015 Innovation By Design Awards has added 3D printing to its fourteen different award categories so that 3D printing artists have a chance to gloss the pages of Fast Company‘s October issue.  And, to get the word out to said artists, the magazine has teamed up with Inside 3D Printing.

The fourth annual Innovation By Design Awards will see 14 different categories judged by 46 people, each key to their respective fields.  The categories include: Mobile Apps, 3-D Printing, City Solutions, Data Visualization, Experience (3D communication design), Experimental (noncommercial concepts), Fashion, Products, Graphic, Health, Smart Home, Social Good, Students, and Web Design.  And while the long list of judges is made up of some pretty impressive people (as well as companies, organizations, and brands), the judges in the 3D printing category include Autodesk CEO Carl Bass, Former MakerBot CEO Bre Pettis, Andrew Dent of Material Connexion and Noah Robischon, Fast Company’s Executive Editor.

You have until May 13th to enter, so get crackin’!
