ExOne Moves Further into the European 3D Printer Market with New Sales Reps

Industrial 3D printer manufacturer ExOne has signed agreements with three new independent sales representatives in Turkey, France and Eastern Europe. HASMAK A. S., Kuttner S.a.r.l., and BL Metal will serve as local sales representatives and act as technical service and support providers.

HASMAK is a family owned Turkish company that offers industrial manufacturing services, maintenance, equipment and supply distribution, and their 100 specialists will maintain ExOne equipment throughout Turkey. The French market will be serviced by Kuttner S.a.r.l., who specialize in iron and steel technologies, energy management, non-ferrous metal recycling and foundry technology. The entire Eastern European market will be served by industrial equipment supplier BL Metal, who specializes in foundry equipment. They will represent ExOne throughout the region, including Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“3D printing is inherently a localized technology, and these appointments expand on our larger globalization effort to create a regionally-based sales structure that brings high levels of market knowledge and experience to our customers,” explained Head of Sales for ExOne Dr. Stefan Tudyka,. “ExOne identified these markets for their robust foundry operations so through relationships with HASMAK, Kuttner and BL Metal, the Company can better serve local customers with the resources and knowledge to meet their unique business needs.”

Industrial 3D printers generally need a significant amount of maintenance and servicing that is difficult to manage on a global scale. The need for local sales reps and technicians is vital to 3D printer manufacturers developing new business as most companies will not purchase large industrial equipment that cannot easily be serviced. By expanding into these entirely new areas, ExOne is looking to bring their industrial 3D printing technology to new and emerging markets that they have traditionally been unable to serve.
