3D Print & Paint the Zombie Lady from Dying Light

The upcoming video game, Dying Light, for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC, combines parkour and zombies in an open world, survival, horror scenario. To help get gamers excited, the developers have released a 3D printable zombie figurine that can be painted and a video of concept artist Krzysztof Baron painting her in great detail.

The game finds players trying to survive in a city infested with the undead and forced to scavenge the streets looking for food, medical supplies, and materials with which to craft weapons. Depending on the materials that one finds, one can upgrade existing weapons, or even craft entirely new ones. And, of course, players can evade the zombies with their awesome parkour skills, which include the ability to run pretty fast, scale walls, and jump from rooftop to rooftop.

Fans of Dyling Light can now bring the game into reality with a 3D printable model. The STL file can be printed out on just about any desktop 3D printer, however you will need to make sure that you size it appropriately depending on your machine’s printing envelope. It looks like the model has been designed to require no supports anda light sanding should be enough to smooth her out to begin painting. Any striation will be less noticeable, once a few coats of paint are applied to the model.  To see how concept designer Krzysztof Baron paints his, watch below:

I’m not particularly a fan of zombies, but the graphics did look pretty great. You can get your 3D printable hot zombie lady here, and find out more about the game and what you’re in for when you play it on the Dying Light Facebook Page. You can preorder the game now, or wait until it’s available everywhere on January 27th.
