German automated post-processing provider DyeMansion has appointed Beijing-headquartered YUNS as its first authorized reseller in China.
YUNS, a distributor of 3D printing equipment, will sell DyeMansion’s post-processing technology within the Shanghai and Shenzhen regions of China, strengthening DyeMansion’s market position in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Both DyeMansion and YUNS aim to increase the number of applications for 3D printing in the country, known as the world’s largest manufacturing hub. The two firms will also be exhibiting at TCT Shenzhen 2019, which takes place from October 15 to 17 2019.
“We are excited to announce YUNS as our first authorized reseller in China. China is the largest manufacturing hub in the world with strong market potential,” comments Jingyi Yuan-Steiner, Director APAC at DyeMansion.
“Together with YUNS, we will collaborate with our Chinese customers to unlock more benefits of Additive Manufacturing by identifying increased applications across different industries.”
Local post-processing solutions for Shanghai and Shenzhen
Founded in 2015, YUNS provides customers with 3D printing services and integration solutions covering the entire workflow, from hardware and software, to technical support and project cooperation. The company has provided 3D printing technology for industries such as aerospace, clothing, electronic appliances, dentistry, orthopedics and architecture. It has also helped companies such as EnvisionTEC, SLM Solutions and Artec deliver their 3D technology to China.
Adding DyeMansion’s post-processing equipment to its portfolio, YUNS gives Chinese customers access to a solution providing high quality finishing for 3D prints. Customers will have local support on hand, and the technology will facilitate the production of end-use 3D printed components.
DyeMansion Print-to-Product workflow
DyeMansion’s technology solutions cover all the steps of post-processing, providing 3D printed part cleaning, surfacing and coloring for laser sintering (LS) and HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) processes. The DyeMansion Powershot C machine delivers automated part cleaning, whereas the Powershot S delivers the company’s PolyShot Surfacing (PSS) technology. PSS is a mechanical finishing process that gives 3D printed parts a matte surface.
At Formnext 2019, DyeMansion is also expected to launch a new system providing its VaporFuse Surfacing (VFS) technology, which introduces a glossy finish to 3D prints. The company provides a coloring solution through its DM60 machine, which is able to provide an unlimited range of colours to 3D printed parts.
Two entire DyeMansion ‘Print-to-Product’ workflows, which comprises the Powershot C, Powershot S and DM60 systems, will be installed onsite at YUNS in Shanghai and Shenzhen respectively. As a certified DyeMansion reseller, the YUNS team has already undergone technical training in order to become proficient at operating the technology, as well as provide technical service and customer support like installation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
“As a supplier of the whole 3D-printing industry chain, YUNS is very honored to be the first reseller of DyeMansion in China. We will cooperate fully with DyeMansion to provide a complete set of 3D-printing post-processing solutions for Chinese customers. In the Chinese market, we will develop more applications with our customers, states Ziqiang Liu, CEO at YUNS.
