3D printer manufacturer Zaxe has unveiled two new 3D printers at Formnext 2021, the Z3+ and X3.
The launch of the two new machines follows hot on the heels of the three new 3D printers Zaxe announced in September, the xlite+, Z2 and Z3. The company has also launched a new material station at the trade show, which works with its Z3 and Z3+ printers. All five 3D printers and the material station are currently on display at the company’s Formnext booth in Hall 11.0, stand C68.
The Xlite+, Z2 and Z3
Unveiled back in September, the xlite+, Z2 and Z3 machines were developed as a result of the knowledge and experience gained by Zaxe over five years of building on the R&D and design of its machines.
Until September, the company’s 3D printer portfolio consisted of its X1, X1+ and X2 3D printer range, its Z1 and Z1+ line of machines, and its xDesktop software and filaments. In September, Zaxe enlarged its 3D printing hardware offering further with the new launches, which featured a range of new features and upgrades in order to improve the accessibility and affordability of 3D printing.
The xlite+ builds on the features of its xlite predecessor, offering a 22 x 23 x 20 cm printing surface and fully automatic print calibration. Equipped with the E3D customized titanium print head, the machine is compatible with “all materials” and is designed for use within the education sector. The xlite+ is priced at €990 plus VAT.
Zaxe’s Z series of 3D printers, meanwhile, is engineered mostly for industrial use. Also featuring the E3D print head, the Z2 and Z3 deliver high-speed printing up to 300 mm per second, with the Z3 offering many of the same features as the Z2 but with a larger print area.
Introducing the Z3+ and X3
Back in September, Zaxe announced it had reached its target growth rate within its domestic market of Turkey and was planning on bringing multiple new hardware and software products to the additive manufacturing market.
Adding to Zaxe’s slew of new 3D printing hardware launches are the Z3+ and X3 3D printers, unveiled today at Formnext, which are due to become available in Q1 2022.
Starting with the Z3+, a 3D printer which offers multifunctional production capabilities to save users the trouble of assembly and coloring processes. The machine enables the simultaneous use of several different materials and filaments of various colors in order to increase the efficiency of the production process.
Featuring a closed print volume of 300 x 300 x 350 mm and IDEX CoreXY mechanics, the Z3+ offers users a fast and stable printing experience. The machine combines the CoreXY system’s strong mechanical structure and the new-generation Klipper system’s precise step movement feature to ensure the printer is quieter, faster, and more durable.
Meanwhile, the Z3+’s dual extrusion architecture allows operators to achieve fast printing results cost-effectively, and reportedly double their efficiency. The printer’s Mirror and Duplication modes are designed to increase productivity during industrial use, while the rapid dissolution of the post-press support parts in the base material can save time during post-printing stages.
The technical specifications for the Z3+ are as follows:

Moving on to Zaxe’s newest addition to its X series of 3D printers, the X3, which has been engineered to make printing more practical and easier than ever before thanks to a 5-inch capacitive touch screen. Combined with a new Wi-Fi feature, the machine also features USB and ethernet port options integrated into the Zaxe xBoard to deliver greater printing diversity.
The printer’s pei plate is made of spring steel and features magnets to ensure prints remain stable and intricate details can be obtained. The pei table’s flexible and rough surface also allows prints to be taken easily from the table once completed.
Designed with both safety and the environment in mind, the X3 is integrated with a HEPA filter to prevent the release of odors and harmful microparticles that occur during the printing process.
The X3 is also equipped with the new-generation E3D print head in order to prevent clogging and prolong the machine’s service life. The X3 is ultimately designed as a reliable, functional professional-grade machine with superior longevity and strong mechanics.

New products on display at Formnext
In addition to its new 3D printers, Zaxe is showcasing its new material station launched during the show. Featuring a total of six slots, three at the top and three at the bottom, the material station enables users to use six filaments at the same time.
Within the station, filaments are protected against external factors such as moisture. The station allows different colors to be printed at once, removing the requirement for painting, while usage status of filaments can be monitored instantly thanks to two different sensors inside.
The material station also features an encoder system that provides specific control dominance regarding the use of filaments, or how long they remain.
Alongside the new material station, Zaxe is showcasing its new Z3+ and X3 3D printers alongside its xlite+, Z2 and Z3 machines at its booth at Formnext 2021 between 16-19 November. Attendees can check out the new machines by heading to Stand C68 in Hall 11.0.
