      1. Cost of servos used in a humanoid robot is the driving factor behind how much the robot will cost. Most humanoid robots have 16 to 20 servos each. Also good servos will mean a good robot and on the other side bad servos will lead to a bad robot. So your robot is only as good as it’s servo and there is no way to get around that.

  2. If printing out the DARwIn-OP is too much for you try printing out the DARWIN-MINI. The mini is a 500.00 dollar robot and all of the parts are 3d printable.
