Morphi & Adobe Join to Make 3D Modeling for 3D Printing Even More Accessible

Since the creation of their 3D modeling and printing application, the team behind Morphi has prided itself on being developers of one of the most easy-to-use and accessible 3D modeling apps on the market. The app was created by a group of developers called The Inventery, aiming to open the 3D print and design world up to everybody. No matter your age or experience level, Morphi was designed to allow anyone to design 3D models on the go from your iPad and (eventually) your desktop computer or smartphone as well. Their latest version of the application, Morphi v2.3, has gone one step further and with the app adapted to be compatible with the Adobe Creative Cloud, a breakthrough linking that will expand the possibilities of 3D design and printing for all Morphi and Adobe users.

3D modeling for 3D printing with Morphi app This latest version allows users to utilize Adobe programs and the Creative Cloud in a variety of ways. Now, 3D designers can download and edit .jpg and .png files from Photoshop and Illustrator within the Morphi app. The updated version also allows for wide-ranging capability with .stl files, as well, with which you are now able to both import and export these files to and from Morphi in order to edit them on either platform.

The integration of Adobe’s products and services into the Morphi app stands to make this application even more accessible to the general public. Those with little experience with either 3D modeling through Morphi or with Adobe programs will have access to upcoming tutorials of how to make the most of this cross-platform collaboration. Morphi is currently available in the iPad app store, and will be compatible with the iPhone, Android, Mac, and Windows in the very near future. The team behind Morphi is optimistic that their new integration with Adobe and their industry-standard programs will help make 3D modeling and 3D printing more accessible to the masses, and also hopes that the cross-platform collaboration will help to bring the most out of both Morphi’s and Adobe’s platform.
