iMakr Offers Schools Half Price on Dual Extruder FlashForge Dreamer 3D Printer

3D Printer superstore iMakr has announced that schools can now purchase a Dual Extruder Flashforge Dreamer 3D printer for half price. The 3D printer is part of an ongoing effort by iMakr to bring more 3D printers into the classroom.

iMakr is teaming up with FlashForge USA to offer an amazing 50% discount off of their most popular 3D printer. The FlashForge Dreamer with dual extruders will cost schools $785  (£499) rather than the standard $1570 (£999). The deal does not include their one-year warranty, butiMakr and their partners will offer training and support to participating schools. They will also offer access to a huge selection of 3D printable educational models from My Mini Factory.

The FlashForge Dreamer is a generally well-regarded 3D printer that is easy to use and reliable, making it an excellent choice for schools and classrooms. The dual extruders offer the option to print in multiple colors or to create multi-material prints. It can connect to computers through a Wi-Fi signal, be hard wired and networked, or models can be imported using a memory card.

It includes the native Flashprint slicer, and the Dreamer can regularly have its firmware upgraded. Models can be printed in PLA, ABS or PVA in a fully-enclosed printing chamber with a 9.1inch x 5.9inch x 5.5inch build volume.
