As Playstation preps for the launch of Sony VR, I know that there will be plenty of gamers looking to bring virtual characters and props into the physical world with 3D printing. We’ve already seen plenty of 3D printable designs from Playstation games, like the Call of Duty Ray Gun and Power Armour from Fallout. So, we’re only going to see even more where that came from and, now, MyMiniFactory is encouraging you to be a part of the fun with their new Playstation 3D Print Design Competition.
The 3D printables site is currently hosting this contest in an effort to bring the best possible Playstation-inspired designs to their community. Supply them with your best 3D printable Sack Boy or Ratchet and Clank and you could have a chance to win some awesome swag. First prize is a 500GB Playstation 4, a headset, 2 controllers and games, while second place takes home a PS4 game bundle and controllers.
