‘Design a 3D-printed car to launch down a ski-slope track at the conference! Entering couldn’t be easier:
1) Design the most awesome car (using our supplied wheels and axle)
2) Send the STEP file to Zach Kaplan of Inventables by Aug 12: [email protected]
We will select the 10 best designs before the conference based on two criteria:
-Using unique attributes of 3D printing
-Aesthetics: beauty / fun / thematic
These 10 designs will be 3D printed and ready for launch on Saturday, Aug. 24 at the conference. They will then ride down a ski-jump track and fly! The winners win a 3D printer each!
The three Up Mini 3D printers will be awarded to the winner of each of the three categories:
-Best flight (distance / style)
-Most spectacular crash
-Best aesthetics
The seven runners-up will receive a USD$100 gift card to use on Inventables.com.’
