With a tongue-in-cheek self-described ‘epic’ trailer that is, with deliberate irony, anything but epic, The 3D Printing Store prepares us for a number of video shorts featuring a cast of 3D printed characters, potentially including you. Yes, how exciting would it be to find yourself in an adventure amidst a coffee table littered with discarded 3D printed objects. Toy Story then. Without the toys. Or the budget. But with a story…
The 3D Printing Store will unroll an episode every Wednesday this month. The first episode — entitled ‘Staring Contest’ — is set to feature an ‘intense showdown’ between two of the series’ maincharacters. An unexpected 3D printed object plays against character Rochambeau in the next episode, Rock Paper Scissors. And a 3D printed animal takes Dennis by surprise in the final video of the series, Dennis in the Wilderness.
