Chris Elsworthy is the CEO of product development company CEL and creator of Robox, the plug-and-print 3D printer which topped GQ’s 100 Best Things in the World list in January 2015. Prior to taking on the challenge of creating a 3D printer for the masses, Chris invented the POWER8workshop, the world’s first portable compact cordless workstation. The POWER8workshop was featured on Dragons’ Den (where the Dragons fought to invest in the business), and won the Federation of Hong Kong Industries’ Consumer Product of the Year Award. Prior to founding CEL with business partner Kenneth Tam in 2006, Chris spent time working for Grey Technology and VAX. Chris has a degree in Industrial Design from Leicester’s De Montfort University and is a recipient of a Royal Society of Arts Design Award.
