Applying 3D-printing into new fields has reached another landmark, as it is heavily involved in the making of the August 17th premiering stop-motion animation ParaNorman.
3D System’s ZPrinter was used to captivate and implement authentic facial expressions into animated figures, which could have proven to be a near impossible task prior to applying the new tech into the equation.
Could this also mark a beginning of the whole film industry –wise revolution, as additive manufacturing technology becomes more broadly used?
