3DS & SYNNEX join forces with North American Distribution deal

3D Systems has signed a major distribution deal, which gives them a strong – though yet of course potential – foothold of the North American 3D printer market, on both professional and personal/prosumer level machinery as well. This joining of forces has been made with SYNNEX Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, which provides IT products and services globally.

The deal gives SYNNEX exclusive rights to sell all of 3DS’ portfolio from ProJet’s to CubeX’s, but even more importantly also gives a strong indication of an upcoming period of 3DP machinery popping up in more and more offices in the future: “By combining our proprietary value-added service model and extraordinary associates with one of the most comprehensive 3D printing portfolios available today, SYNNEX is positioned to help our resellers provide an exceptional, end-to-end 3D printing experience to their customers,” states the President and CEO of SYNNEX Corporation, Kevin Murai.

Avi Reichental, 3DS’ CEO and president is also excited about the signed agreement: “We look forward to working with an established and experienced partner like SYNNEX Corporation. This new relationship substantially expands our North American reach through a Fortune 500 organization with a track record of delivering exceptional customer service”, Reichental explained.
