3DHacker has announced a modelling contest for 3D-printable household items — a chance to expose your design and 3D printing skills by entering your original design for a household item. Model submission must be received between 12:01 A.M., Pacific Time, Monday, September 23, 2013 and 11:59 P.M., Pacific Time, Friday, November 15, 2013.
The competition addresses innovation and pragmatism: one winner will be selected for the most unique design and one winner will be selected for the most useful design.
Winners will receive a 1 kg roll of Prototype Supply filament, courtesy of ToyBuilder Labs, including shipping to a continental US address. Winners are responsible for any additional postage, taxes duties and fees.
Contest Rules:
- Models Must be Original. No Model Derivatives from External Locations.
- Model Description Must Be Original.
- 3D Models Must Be Printable.
- Uploads Can Not Violate 3DHacker’s Site Terms.
- Residents in all countries can participate except for those restricted by U.S. laws including Export Controls and Sanction
