USPTO to Host Additive Manufacturing Partnership Meeting

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) will be hosting an Additive Manufacturing Partnership meeting on Wednesday 23rd January 2013, held at the Alexandria campus.

The meeting will serve as a forum for users sharing ideas, experiences and insights in the growing field of 3D printing, but also the purpose of the meeting is to drive discussion on how USPTO can improve and expand its relationship with individual users within the 3D printing industry.

Representatives from 3D printing companies such as 3D Systems, Stratasys and Makerbot will also be present providing overviews of the various applications of their respective 3d printing technology and demonstrating the use of their 3D printers.
