India-based 3D printing service provider STPL3D has launched its new IndoMake INSL series of SLA 3D printers.
The product line, which contains the INSL-300, 600, 800, and 1100, was debuted at an inauguration event at the company’s head office in Surat, Gujarat. The event saw Managing Director Dhiraj Kumar Vasoya breaking a coconut as part of a tradition intended to bring about an auspicious era for the firm.
Marketed as an industrial-grade offering, the large-format INSL series is aimed at manufacturers in the automotive, aerospace, robotics, healthcare, and consumer products sectors.
Rahul Gaywala, CEO of parent company STPL, said, “In today’s ever-changing landscape, designers and engineers are constantly finding new techniques to improve product development, making processes more efficient, and getting products to market faster than ever before. And with these latest printers, STPL created a very conducive environment for the use of latest technology and modern approaches.”
Three decades of laser technology
Established in 1993, STPL has spent almost three decades developing its laser technology with a focus on diamond cutting machines. The company eventually pivoted to 3D printing services in 2017 with the founding of STPL3D, which has now served over 1,000 customers and printed over 4,500 parts. The firm also supplies its own set of 3D printing resins such as Formula L1, Clara A, and Magna L90.
With the launch of its new IndoMake INSL series, STPL3D hopes to address the increasing demand for low-volume manufacturing systems in India. The company also expects significant growth in the Indian 3D printing market in the coming years.
Kuntesh Radadiya, Manager of STPL3D, explains, “Additive manufacturing is expecting a huge adaptation in the Indian manufacturing industries. The IndoMake INSL 3D printer series
The new IndoMake INSL series is a versatile one, offering a wide range of print volumes depending on the needs of the customer. The smallest in the range is the INSL-300 (300 x 300 x 300mm), while the largest is the INSL-1100 (1100 x 600 x 550mm).
All of the systems feature galvanometer scanners developed by Scanlab, ensuring repeatable parts for industrial-grade applications. The INSL 3D printers also support over five different resin materials, each with its own unique properties for both functional prototyping and end-use production.
STPL’s IndoMake printers also feature rigid solid steel frames, granite print beds, and aerospace-grade aluminum Z-axes to absorb vibrations generated during the printing process and improve part quality. Additional features include automatic tank refilling, autofocus, environmental sensing, and remote diagnostics and control.
