With egg-hunting season fast-approaching, Shenzhen-based 3D printer provider Snapmaker has launched its new week-long Easter Sale, offering significant discounts on all of its additive manufacturing systems.
Founded in 2016, Snapmaker is a relatively young competitor on the scene, specializing in desktop 3-in-1 hybrid machines that combine 3D printing, laser engraving & cutting, and CNC machining.
The promotion will run from April 11th to April 17th in the US and April 11th to April 18th in the EU.
Snapmaker Original
The first of the 3D printers on offer is the Snapmaker Original, the firm’s debut 3-in-1 manufacturing engine. With a build volume of 125 x 125 x 125mm, the system features a an FFF printhead capable of processing filaments such as PLA and ABS, a 200mW laser engraver, and 3.175mm CNC machining toolhead.
Snapmaker Original is available for just $439 in the Easter Sale.
Snapmaker 2.0 A150, A250, and A350
Intended as successors to the Snapmaker Original, the Snapmaker 2.0 A range comprises the smaller A150, mid-size A250, and large-format A350. The build volumes stand at 160 x 160 x 145mm, 230 x 250 x 235mm, and 320 x 350 x 330mm respectively.
Much like their predecessor, the modular 2.0 models come complete with a 3D printhead, a laser cutter and engraver, and a CNC carving toolhead. They’re also equipped with a plethora of upgrades such as filament runout recovery, an ER11 Collet, a high-power 1600mW laser, a new cooling system, removable work surfaces, faster work speeds, and a built-in camera. The systems can also be integrated with optional add-ons like an enclosure and rotary module.
A150/bundle is available for $899/$1139, A250/bundle is available for $1099/$1399, and A350 is available for $1499 in the Easter Sale.
Snapmaker 2.0 A250T and A350T
The Snapmaker 2.0 AT models (A250T and A350T) are based on the A250 and A350 but boast a number of performance upgrades. Equipped with a new 3D printing module, new linear modules, and a new Power Module, these systems deliver improved print speeds, higher part quality, and a noticeably quieter working environment.
To put this into context, the Snapmaker AT models can 3D print parts 50% larger in the same amount of time and bring the average noise level down by about 16 dB(A) to 50 dB(A) thanks to the embedded TMC2209 stepper motor driver chips.
Both Snapmaker 2.0 AT 3D printers are 15% off.
Snapmaker 2.0 F250, F350, and accessories
Finally, we have the Snapmaker 2.0 F models (F250 and F350). Designed to be beginner-friendly versions of the company’s 3-in-1 3D printer offerings, the F250 and larger F350 sport build volumes of 230 x 250 x 235mm and 320 x 350 x 330mm.
The F models also come complete with upgraded cooling systems and motion control algorithms for high-speed larger part production. Operating on Snapmaker’s own Luban software, the machines come jam-packed with several quality-of-life features such as a 5” touchscreen, flexible print sheet, auto-leveling functionality, WiFi connectivity, a filament runout sensor, and even power loss recovery.
Additionally, Snapmaker’s entire portfolio of add-on accessories is also covered under the Easter Sale. This includes the Snapmaker 2.0 Enclosure.
Both Snapmaker 2.0 F models and the company’s accessories are available for 15% off.
