Technopop is offering interactive exhibits, workshops and activities aimed at students, children and their families. The four-week event is divided into four themed series of classes, workshops and inspirational talks, each lasting for one week.

The first week of activities is called Looking Up and covers topics like aviation, space exploration and the science of weather. Week two is called In Touch With Technology and features coding seminars, digital design workshops and hackathons. Week three is called Built Environment and introduces the concepts of smart cities with a focus on transportation, architecture and engineering. And the final week’s topic is Sports Science & The Human Body, where visitors will learn about food science, nutrition and medical technology.

3D printing is set to play a major part of each weeks events and will have a dedicated “3D Zone” with It Is 3D and Kide 3D on hand to offer workshops, educational demonstrations, hands on activities and seminars. Both companies bring 3D printing educational programs into schools and will be creating activities aimed at introducing 3D printing to students and teachers.
