RadTech promotes the use and development of UV – ultraviolet – and EB – electron beam – technology for 3D printing and manufacturing purposes. They believe the technology will eliminate pollution, producer higher yields at a faster rate than traditional manufacturing and save on energy cost. They also develop procedures for the safe operation of equipment and materials, research, material testing and quality control related to UV and EB technology.

The UV.EB WEST Advanced Materials Conference is a two-day event that promises to connect business leaders and innovators in the UV and EB tech industry with manufacturing businesses. The conference is scheduled for March 10-11, 2015 in Redondo Beach, California at the Crowne Plaza hotel with a Keynote Presentation for the 3D printing portion of the conference by Jason Lopes from Hollywood SFX company Legacy Effects who will talk about 3D printing the Iron Man suit.

To promote the 2015 conference, RadTech has produced a brief comic about a superhero visiting California without his super suit and running afoul of an evil, polluting super villain named Volatile. You can read the PDF version of the comic here, or you can watch the video version here:
