Prodways Expands Its Presence Further Worldwide

French industrial 3D printer manufacturer Prodways has been making some big moves in the past year.  After expanding their technology portfolio from the firm’s patented MOVINGlight photopolymer process to SLS and DMLS through a partnership with Farsoon, the firm has begun increasing their distribution significantly worldwide.  The latest news sees them break into the United States and Poland, through distribution agreements with Nexxt Labs and VPI Polska.

Based in Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Nexxt Labs is a full-service engineering and 3D printing provider that will now be able to add Prodways’ line of technology to their offerings. David Pecoraro, Nexxt Labs President and CEO, says of the agreement, “Nexxt Labs is very excited to partner with Prodways and help bring their innovative and forward-thinking technology to North America. We are impressed with the technological route Prodways took to redefine the way DLP & laser sintering technologies are being used in 3D printing systems.”

The technology will also be making its way further into Poland, where VPI Polska will begin distributing Prodways’ 3D printer lines.  The company is made up of engineering and 3D printing experts and is an authorized distributor of ESI Group. Maciej Dukat, Business Development Manager of VPI Polska, commented, “We are very pleased to start cooperation with Prodways. It allows us to explore many new and exciting growth opportunities in the fast-growing market of professional 3D printing. The Prodways premium-class 3D printers are known for their high quality and reliability, which is the reason why they are trusted by many industry specialists worldwide. We are convinced that the availability of these high-end solutions in Poland will not only meet the highest needs of Polish industrial companies, but also allow them to significantly increase the innovativeness and competitiveness of their products.”

The news of these latest partnerships follows Prodways’ previous announcement that they’d signed agreements with Focus 3D in Poland and Consistent Software Distribution (CSD) in Russia, both of which opened them up to the Eastern European market. Together with deals with LSS in Europe, as well as two more companies in Hungary and France and the launch of an aerospace division, this news suggests that Prodways is growing significantly and may be able to obtain its goal of becoming the third leading 3D printing company in the industry.  To learn more about the company first hand, you can see Prodways at AMUG in St. Louis next month.
