Headquartered in New York, engineering software company nTopology has opened its first European office in Regensburg, Germany.
“Our presence will serve as an important resource to help customers realize increased product functionality, reduced development cycles and optimized designs for AM,” said Fabian Grupp, the new nTopology representative.
nTopology’s new generative design software, the nTop Platform, enables computational modeling in a unified environment. Engineers can create highly complex designs for advanced and additive manufacturing processes with simultaneous consideration of design, simulation and manufacturing for rapid optimization. Previously, nTop has been used to solve industrial challenges in aerospace, medical, automotive and consumer product sectors.
“Large, global, enterprise-level manufacturing companies are adopting nTopology’s software to address engineering challenges and initiatives such as lightweighting, generative design and Industry 4.0,” stated Bradley Rothenberg, founder and CEO of nTopology. “Our expansion into Germany is the logical next step since that is the base for much of European manufacturing.”
In response to the company’s growing partner and customer base in Europe, nTopology decided to set up a new location in Germany, one of the most manufacturing-centric countries in the world. Commencing the company’s expansion, the nTopology team will go on a three-month tour to visit selected partners at their European production sites.
The company will showcase its design and manufacturing capabilities, including simulation, topology optimization and architected materials. Both the German and North American nTopology teams will be present at the Stand 12.0 B21 of the Frankfurt FORMNEXT show in November.
