Removing 3D Printed parts from a build plate is often a real pain. Hands cut, glass surfaces breaking, damages to the print surface or the printed parts. Those are problems that every maker has already faced while using a spatula.
Zimple is back on Kickstarter with a new product to tackle this problem: the Ziflex, a flexible and magnetic build plate, at an affordable price.
While other systems usually use a solid steel sheet and magnets, Zimple has come up with something innovative: using strong directional magnetic sheets on both parts.
Their technology ensures a perfect alignment to your printer’s bed while maintaining a strong grip.
Zimple declares they will be able to produce any size and shape in order to be compatible with every 3D printer on the market. This perpetuates their universal compatibility policy, already observed on their filtration system: Zimpure.
Furthermore, the early bird Kickstarter discount is quite appealing with up to 35% discount.
If you’re struggling with print removal and adhesion, the Ziflex could be a solution for you. Check out the Kickstarter campaign to get more informations on the Ziflex and pre order.
