3D Printing

Makerland — A Three Day Maker Festival

Between 17th and 19th of March Makerland will take place. Billed as a three-day international conference about the future of hardware and the Internet of Things, Makerland will take a hands-on approach to teach attendees about tnew and emerging technologies for makers such as: 3D printing, robotics, drones, connected devices, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, home automation and much more. During inspiring talks, hands-on workshops and full days of freestyle hacking, an international crowd of speakers and workshop leaders will cover every area of the maker movement.

Warsaw, Poland will be the centre of attraction featuring the likes of Arduino, Indiegogo, TechCrunch or 3DHubs. The upfront cost of hardware hacking can become a barrier to entry and this is where Makerland comes in handy, because visitors to the event will have full access to 3D printers, drones, robotics and solder stations (you get the idea) to offer an experience tailored to any maker  — from beginners such as people who don’t know what Arduino is to hobbyist tinkerers and experienced makers. The agenda for the event includes 8 speeches, 20 inspiring workshops and a day-long hackathon open to every participant.

Makerland Three Day Maker FestivalMichał Pęczalski, creative technologist of Isobar Poland advertising agency will tell how his company built a robot controlled via the internet for remote office tours:Thanks to ongoing development of technology and decreasing prices of hardware, many innovative solutions became available to almost everyone. At the same time there are more and more people who want to experiment and create new devices that will make our life easier.”
