iGo3D Opens Physical 3D Printing Store in Germany to Support Online Activities

iGo3D has established a strong, and comprehensive, online 3D printing retail presence. With a wide range of 3D printer brands (Ultimaker, Builder, Witbox, 3D Systems, Leapfrog and Felix) , iGo3D’s inventory also includes 3D scanners (the David laser scanner), 3D printing materials (taulman3D) and accessories, as well as 3D printed consumer products (jewellrry, cases for the iPad and smartphones, 3F printed furniture and lamps).

And from the 7th of September iGo3D will also have a physical presence on the high street in its native Germany. With 130 square metres of retail space, the new iGo3D store will offer a dedicated place for anyone interested in or looking to source anything 3D printing, in the city of Oldenburg. All of the 3D printers will be displayed in the store and will be available for purchase, similarly the scanners, accessories, filament and products.

And in a move to draw in the community, iGo3D is also inviting young developers and local FabLabs to showcase any newly developed products in the local store in order to get feedback from potential customers. As an example for this, iGo3D will display the “Joseb” which was specifically  developed for schools by the FabLab Oldenburg.

Looking ahead, the plan is for iGo3D to add more 3D printers and products to its stock as well as offering an on-demand scan to print service.

The opening ceremony for the German 3D printing store will take place on 7th of September at 2 pm.
